I can’t believe I missed this post. You say it so well and I can cozy up to the feeling your describe. Today is such a day in my neighborhood and yes, sometimes it is a good thing.

Yes, I’m afraid I could be the kind to really love a place like Seattle.
But in West Texas? That gray has to do the limbo to reach the tops of the trees, doesn’t it? I guess I could see how it would give you a cozy feeling, though.

I have a couple of Fruitless Mulberry trees that reach up over 30 feet. That’s what goes for large around here. You can always tell where someone has lived around here. Even if the house is gone, that is where you will find a tree. – Fuzz

Another reason I looove fall. The grey days that it brings. And we’ve had several of them here lately. Grey, rainy days .. it makes for great sleeping weather.

i ordinarily hate the cold, grey days, but with the picture you put in my mind, i could almost live with it…
